Patients should call to see what information or procedures are needed before their visit so that we may serve you best. Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays: 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Parking: Parking is available in the front of the Tompkins- Martin Medical Plaza and Ambulatory Services Building. Overflow parking is available throughout the MWH Campus. Shuttle service runs to and from the parking lots. Cell Phones: Cell phones are not allowed to be used in the Imaging Center as it can interfere with care for our patients. Cell phones may be used in the first floor lobby. Children: Children 10 and older are allowed to accompany the patient during their visit. If the child is under 10, he or she must remain in the waiting area with another adult. Children under 10 may not be left unattended in the waiting area and are not allowed in the diagnostic areas. Services: At The Imaging Center for Women, our patients receive the most advanced care in a place thoughtfully created to accommodate women's needs. Experienced physicians and technologists perform a variety of diagnostics including mammography, ultrasound, and bone densitometry to measure bone health and screen for osteoporosis. We also perform stereotactic breast biopsy, an alternative to the traditional surgical biopsy. This effective procedure is done on an outpatient basis with less discomfort and scarring. The Imaging Center for Women is a partnership between MediCorp and Radiology Associates of Fredericksburg.

The MWH Mobile Mammography Van has dedicated state-of-the-art mammography equipment of the same calibre as the Imaging Center. We bring the van to your area for added convenience. In addition, mammograms on this van are offered at a lower rate and we work with you to process insurance claims. This unit was made possible with a generous donation from the MWH Auxiliary. Both programs are accredited with the American College of Radiology.
