Steel Work Completed! On Thursday, July 26, 2007, the last steel beam was added to Stafford Hospital Center. The frame is now complete. During the Fall of 2007, several construction milestones have been met. The main road, as well as visitor and patient parking, has been asphalted. The west and north sides of the hospital have completed exteriors. Construction on the interior of the 4th and the 3rd floors is underway. MediCorp Health System has been serving our community for 106 years, when Mary Washington Hospital first opened its doors. We have a rich history of caring for our community and try to live up to our mission of improving the health status of all people in our community each and every day.
