MediCorp Health System has designed a highly efficient full-service hospital on its own campus that is patient-centered, focused on safety, and built with the most advanced technology. It has been designed with room to grow and, because of our location to Washington DC, with emergency preparedness enhancements.
Stafford Hospital Center is home to a 100-bed acute care hospital,advanced imaging, and medical office space is currently under construction.
Site Location
The Stafford Hospital Medical Campus is located on a 72-acre campus at the corner of Route 630 (Courthouse Rd.) and Route 1, with its own stoplight. It is easily accessible from I-95. The campus site includes wetlands, and MediCorp is preserving this area for community use.
Other Benefits
Stafford Hospital Center brings more health care services into Stafford County. With the new hospital open, residents can expect to see more physician offices open, with a wider variety of specialists available.
Stafford residents now have access to more outpatient surgery, imaging including MR and CT scans, and other important services in their community.
These services are also easy to access for community members and EMS services. Stafford Hospital Center is located within 10 miles of most residents.
