Vascular Health at VHVIVascular health means how well blood vessels outside of the brain and heart function. The most common problem is peripheral artery disease (PAD). Other vascular conditions include aneurisms (a weakening of the blood vessel itself) problems with blood flow to major organs, and deep vein thrombosis or DVT.
At VHVI, we believe that treating vascular disease can actually improve patients' long-term heart health, and prevent problems before they arise.
Physician Specialists
VHVI offers integrated care through a team approach. Experienced, board-certified vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists and clinicians who specialize in vascular care work together for the patient.
Diagnostics
VHVI members have the most advanced technology available to find and treat vascular problems throughout the body. These include angiography (imaging of the blood vessels in various parts of the body using a dye that is injected into the patient for better imaging),nuclear medicine and other advanced imaging to pinpoint the exact nature of blood flow, as well as several other state-of-the-art procedures.
