MediCorp offers home services specially designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of patients. Mary Washington Hospital Home Health Agency What to Expect: Mary Washington Hospital Home Health has been providing professional specialty care to clients in our community since 1982. We are fully accredited by the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) as well as Medicare certified. Services can include care from a variety of professionally trained specialists. Emergency Contact: We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 540.741.1667, option #1. Hours: Care is provided in the home. General office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Parking: When visiting our office, parking is located in the front of the building and is free. Cell Phones: There are no restrictions on cell phones in our office. We are also happy to contact patients and their family members on their cell phones for added convenience. Our team proudly and passionately delivers the highest quality of care in your loved one's home environment. Emergency Contact: We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 540.741.1667, option #3. Hours: Care is provided in at home. General office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Cell Phones: There are no restrictions on cell phones in our office. We are also happy to contact patients and their family members on their cell phones for added convenience. How Our Services Work We serve clients for a single day, a week or even years, depending on their need(s) We can provide services in 4-hour increments up to 24-hour services for those that may need round-the-clock care Travel charge-inquire about mileage charge Companions provide the care in the client or caregiver's home, hospital, Nursing Home or Assisted Living Home Health Aides provide the same services as Companions, yet they are trained and state certified to do in-depth, hands-on care. Specialty Services Bed and Bath Service-An aide either assists or gives a complete bath. (1 hour service) Rise 'n Shine-Each morning an aide assists with getting out of bed and with dressing. The aide also prepares the day's meals and ensures the client gets comfortable. Fluff 'n Tuck-At the end of the day an aide assists with getting ready for bed. This includes turning off lights, securing doors and assuring overnight security.
