For over 100 years, our organization has existed to improve the health status of all people within our community. MediCorp has many programs that provide services to those who are less fortunate, those who are interested in improving their health, and those at high risk for health problems. MediCorp's Speakers Bureau is a free service, offering speakers on a wide range of health care topics. Our Health Link telephone service provides free information on over 1,000 health topics, over 300 physicians on Mary Washington Hospital's medical staff, and health care facilities throughout the region. Health fairs, free health screenings, and health and wellness classes provide the community with opportunities to learn more about health issues, to assess health risks and to learn to live a healthier lifestyle. We have regularly scheduled classes, with an emphasis on childbirth, parenting, and physical therapy. Check out our calendar for a listing of current events.

After Prom Grants The MWH Foundation offers grants to local high schools to support their After Prom Activities. The deadline for 2008 proms has passed, please check back in the Fall. Mobile Health Van MediCorp also offers clinical programs that assist many people who would not otherwise be able to access care. The Mobile Mammography Unit and MWH Auxiliary Regional Mobile Health Clinic bring health care to the community in a variety of different locations throughout the region, at a reduced rate. Moss Free Clinic The Mary Washington Hospital Community Services Fund also helps to improve our community's health status by providing grants to other local organizations that improve quality of life through health care outreach programs, including substantial support of the Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic.
